The NBPD Criminal Investigative Division is comprised of highly trained detectives who investigate crimes and are assigned to work in partnership with families, schools, social service agencies, and the courts to protect and assist our citizens. The Criminal Investigative Division complements all other community policing efforts within the New Baltimore Police Department.

The Juvenile Detective is charged with the responsibility of addressing complex issues of juvenile offenders and victims. Further, the Juvenile Detective is also responsible to work in the schools as the School Liaison Officer who serves as a resource to school staff and students.
